Do I need to fast prior to having blood work?
The term fasting means no food 5 hours prior to your appointment. You may have water and/or plain black coffee (no sweeteners). It is important to drink plenty of water while fasting, as this makes it easier to draw blood when you are well hydrated. Fasting is required for certain tests such as glucose and cholesterol. We will always advise you of fasting requirements. If you think fasting will be an issue for you, please discuss this with your healthcare provider.
How do I get prescription refills?
Please contact your pharmacy and have them fax a refill request to our office. This assures that all of the details of the medication and the pharmacy will be accurate. Please allow 24-48 hours for your request to be completed.
What insurance plans are accepted?
We accept most major insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem, United Healthcare, UMR, Tricare as well as many others. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to verify covered services on your healthcare plan.
